GOODREADS SYNOPSIS:In the aftermath of a forbidden moment that rocked Sydney to her core, she finds herself struggling to draw the line between her Alchemist teachings and what her heart is urging her to do. Then she meets alluring, rebellious Marcus Finch–a former Alchemist who escaped against all odds, and is now on the run. Marcus wants to teach Sydney the secrets he claims the Alchemists are hiding from her. But as he pushes her to rebel against the people who raised her, Sydney finds that breaking free is harder than she thought. There is an old and mysterious magic rooted deeply within her. And as she searches for an evil magic user targeting powerful young witches, she realizes that her only hope is to embrace her magical blood–or else she might be next.

Populated with new faces as well as familiar ones, the Bloodlines series explores all the friendship, romance, battles, and betrayals that made the #1 New York Times bestselling Vampire Academy series so addictive—this time in a part-vampire, part-human setting where the stakes are even higher and everyone’s out for blood.

5 starsREVIEW: O.M.G…this is one of my favorite series! =D I’m so in love with all the characters! So…in this third book in the Bloodlines Series…to put everything in nutshell, Sydney is basically trying to decide if she should follow Alchemist beliefs, follow Marcus Finch, or follow her own heart and discover her beliefs (in addition to falling in love with a drunken vampire!) This is the best book out of all three (so far). There were sooooo many Sydrian scenes! (ahhhh!!) I just loved it!

Ok, so lets analyze everything without spoiling any of this book’s goodness.

Sydney→ she really grows as a character in this book. She discovers who she is and accepts things that are meant to be. She’s less uptight and enjoys some cute scenes with Adrian 😉

Angeline→ this girl is a trip in this book. There aren’t many scenes with her, but throughout the book, she is acting strange and hiding some secret from everyone. She actually becomes a little more responsible as well.

Adrian→ Adrian, was well…Adrian. 😀 He was soooo funny throughout the book. He grows as a character and really shows his love for Syndey. Its just too cute.

At the end, I was like “Whaaaaaa??😳😱😳😱”  Its a shocker, of course, because that’s Richelle Mead’s style.

Richelle Mead’s writing is just perfect in this book. I loved it. I was frustrated with the characters, understandable, and also felt bad for them sometimes. It was great!

Lesson Learned? (Duh, that Sydrian scenes are The.Best! jk jk…thats not all 😉) Follow your heart and do what you know is right. Fall in love and learn from your mistakes. 🙂

OMG OMG OMG!!! i loved every Sydrian scene in this book!!! From the wedding, to the dragon, and the beautiful ending when Sydney finally decided to give their relationship a chance! YES!

The Ivashkinator? What a perfect name for the Mustang!

And i just love how they are both parents to a dragon. Thats just too cute! When they first saw the dragon and were freaking out, it was so funny when they were both clinging to each other and instead of Adrian being all big and bad like he’s been trying to act throughout the book, he tells Syndey to get rid of it. Ha!

Aw man! and when Sydney called Stanton and started going off about all kinds of craziness, i just KNEW that call was gonna come back and bite her in the butt! Because at the end, her sister freakin’ comes into town! WITH A TATTOO on her cheek! Talk about mind blown! 😦 Just when Sydney and Adrian get together, her sister has to come…along with another guardian! crap, crap, crap. I can’t wait for The Fiery Heart! It even has Adrian’s POV! oh yeah!😄
