Oh I haven’t wrote a review in forever! School! I’m in college and ugh…so much work and reading. I haven’t even been reading as much as I’ve wanted to…which sucks! I have eight unread books here on my bookshelf that I’m just soooo ready to read them. It’s sad too because I keep buying books knowing I have books here to read AND knowing that I don’t have time to read. But hey, thats what a bookworm does right? 😉

5+ starsREVIEW:

Allegiant was slow but oh so emotional. The feels were just too much to handle! I couldn’t get a handle on my emotions for days and days after finishing this novel. Just knowing that the trilogy is over is sad. I love Veronica Roth’s characters and world that she has created, and I will be sure to look out for more of her books.

Theme: Bravery, Sacrifice, Love, Rebellion

Plot:
Chicago is falling apart after they discover that there is another world outside of their factions. When Tris and her friends have an opportunity to explore the world outside Chicago, they go through many different obstactles that makes them realize that the outside world isn’t as wonderful as they hoped. When more secrets are revealed, Tris and her friends must must make life or death situations that will help Chicago and the people they love.

Characters:
Set in first point of view with two narrators:  Tris and Four

Tris→ Tris shows her true bravery in this novel. She was sooo annoying to me in Insurgent, but reading about her in this novel has made me love her again.

Four→ I don’t know…since this was the first novel with Four’s point of view..it seemed…weird. He kinda seemed like a whinny baby a little. He was in his emotions so much to the point where I was just dreading reading his point of views. However, it did show the battle Four was going through within himself even though he showed a tough exterior to the world. It was interesting reading his point of view and I enjoyed it…just not as much as I hoped.

Style/Setting:
The details in this novel were great! The imagery was well-written and it was easy to understand and picture everything.

If you’ve read Allegiant, what are your thoughts on the ending?

Lesson Learned? Love and be strong.
