C.A. Wittchen / Teaser Tuesdays

Teaser Tuesdays (Apr. 1)

Teaser Tuesdays (TT) is a weekly series hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.

It’s easy to join in the fun!

To participate:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (Make sure what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers.

Here’s my teaser: Behind Locked Doors (Devil's Grace #1)

“There was nothing about him that should be real, but everything was. He was real–they all were real. The danger that children were warned about was only a mere truth to it.”– pp. 335-336, Behind Locked Doors (Devils Grace #1) by C.A. Wittchen

Make sure to tune in every Tuesday to join in, or subscribe to my blog and get a reminder every Tuesday by email. Happy Reading! ❤

  1. I am loving this book, I can’t wait to read your review on it. I love the way it has drew me in and reminded me of my own childhood imagination, maybe the faeries I saw then were really there 🙂
Tempest has a survivable death wish, With so many out to kill her she continues to search for answers. She’s so brave in the face of danger!
Here’s my tease from the Book Behind Locked Doors; There was a loud groan behind her–startling her.
Glancing over her shoulder, Tempest saw Garrett sitting up. How is he still alive? The thought was a blank void–an answerless question. He shouldn’t be alive. His torn shirt from when the lycanthrope ripped open his chest was in bloody rags, somehow still clinging to him. His skin was deathly pale and his eyes were dead to the world. His shoulders slouched forward as he let out a mind numbing scream, clenching his jaw. He began clawing at his skin, digging long gashes into his forearm. It startled her to see him this way.
P.S. I want to name my son Kione when he’s born.
